TypeDrawing is a unique iPad app that makes it possible to use text as the basis for stunning works of art. Start by typing a few words, phrases or sentences and you can then draw an image with your prose.
Text can be used as an outline for an image, added over the top of an existing picture or used as a paintbrush in its own right. TypeDrawing can be used for serious artwork or just for fun - it's something that children and adults will enjoy in equal measure.
There is support for multiple languages as well as Emoji emoticons and there are 51 different fonts to choose from - so you're certain to be able to find something suitable for your masterpiece.
You can opt to start with a blank canvas or use a photo you have taken as a background. The opacity of background images can be adjusted to achieve the look and feel you are aiming for, and simple control make the app a joy to use. The works of art you create can be saved in PNG or PDF format at resolutions up to 1200 x 1600 pixels.
