Blast 1.6.1

Using Finder to track down the files you want to work with on your Mac can be a pain. Blast aims to rectify this by providing easy access to all of your files right from the menu bar.

The app constantly monitors how you are using your computer and builds up a list of recently used documents that can be accessed from the menu bar. Whether you have created, opened or downloaded a file, it will be recorded for easy access.

Blast can also be configured to keep track of the folders you use so these can be added to the easy access list. Double clicking an entry in the list will open it, while double clicking with Command pressed opens a Finder window at the correct location.

Your most frequently used folders can be bookmarked for even faster access, and the list of files includes previews to help with the identification of individual documents. Files can be dragged from the Blast window to the dock or into an application - great for attaching files to an email.
