Postbox Express 1.0.1

Postbox Express is an email client that provides a rich set of tools to help you get more from your messages.

Useful content views make it easier to zoom in on the information that matters, for instance. The "conversation view" shows you every message in a particular email thread, hiding everything else. Tabbed email browsing provides a quick view to use relevant information: folders, saved searches, attachments and more. And account and folder views are optimised to display only related information, hiding clutter and minimising distractions.

If you still can't find what you need then very fast search tools will locate messages by keyword, sender, subject and more.

Built-in social network support means you can update your Facebook, Twitter or FriendFeed status from within Postbox. And it can even import your contacts Facebook or Twitter profile photos, displaying these within the program so you can see who you're communicating with at a glance.

An anti-phishing module compares URLs that are sent to you with known phishing or malware sites, displaying a prominent warning message if there's a match.

And because Postbox Express is based on Mozilla technology, there's scope for converting many existing add-ons to work with the program. Already you can extend Postbox with tools to encrypt emails, back up your settings and email, work with Google Calendar, and more, and others are due for release soon.
