Yasu (Yet Another System Utility) has been designed to make it easier to perform a number of routine maintenance tasks on your Mac. In order to help keep things running smoothly, it is a good idea to clear out the various logs and caches that are created.

Ordinarily this could mean having to access a number of system settings or manually running a large number of script. But with Yasu you can simply select the cleanup operations you would like to perform and they will be executed in one fell swoop.

You can also opt to securely delete internet related files, but this does mean that the cleanup process takes significantly longer than usual.

While there are other tools that perform many of the same tasks as Yasu, but they have a tendency to be overrun with superfluous options that would not be of interest to most users. Yasu focuses on the tasks that most people will want to run.

Verdict

Yasu makes light work of cleaning up your Mac, but some users may find it slightly limited.
