MyUninstaller is a simple, portable and lightweight alternative to the standard Windows "Uninstall a Program" Control Panel applet.

It provides much more information about the various programs you've installed, everything from their installation folder and source, to the author's web site (if available), various Registry keys related to the installation, and even details on the type of installer your program users (Windows, InstallShield, Nullsoft, whatever it might be).

You have more options available for individual programs, too.

If you spot an entry for an application that you know you've uninstalled, for instance, then it can be deleted in a couple of clicks.

You're also able to open REGEDIT at a particular application's Registry key for further investigations.

And there's the option to produce an HTML report on your installed programs, which could be useful for troubleshooting at a later date, as you'll be able to compare two reports and see what's changed.

Version 1.76 brings:
•Fixed bug: MyUninstaller failed to remember the last size/position of the main window if it was not located in the primary monitor.

Verdict

It's a little short on features by NirSoft standards, but MyUninstaller is still useful for simple tasks like removing orphaned entries from your Add/Remove Programs list
