Staying on top of your daily routine can be a real chore – particularly if your carefully cultivated organiser is stuck at home or in the office while you’re on the road and in desperate need of what you’ve recorded. We’ve got cloud-based storage, so how about a cloud-based organiser tool that synchronises across all your computers and mobile devices automatically, letting you keep your life organised from wherever you happen to be.

Hub List promises to offer all this functionality, plus the ability to synchronise with other task-based services and apps like Backpack and Google Tasks. It also promises to allow you to share your lists and tasks with family, friends and colleagues too. It runs natively on Windows, Mac and Linux, and will soon launch across mobile devices including the iPhone and Android too.

The only problem is, Hub List is currently at a very early stage in its development, so right now most of these features aren’t functional. In fact, at the present time the program is a simple to-do list tool: you can organise your notes into folders and sub-folders (drag and drop is fully supported), plus delete and archive obsolete notes, but nothing more. However, it’s nicely put together and with tags and smart folders due in a future beta release, should start to develop into a fully featured to-do application.

The program makers are keen to stress this is an incredibly early beta, so will be full of bugs. However, by getting involved now you can help shape the program’s future development by making suggestions through the purple Share Ideas button on the main website.


It’s too early to draw any firm conclusions, but while the functionality is currently lacking, the promise is there for this task management app to deliver.
