As the name would suggest, GraphicConverter is primarily concerned with converting images from one format to another. With support for more than 200 image formats and the option of outputting files in more than 80, you'll be hard pushed to find a file that the program can’t handle.

GraphicsConverter can be used with image files that are already on your hard drive, but files can also be imported from your digital camera, or acquired from a scanner. Simple conversion between formats is not necessarily something to get excited about, but conversion can be done in batches so entire folders of images can be converted in a flash.

Basic editing options are also available, such as resizing, cropping, and the application of effects and filters. With the ability to sharpen image and optimise them for use on the web, GraphicsConverter is a handy tool for site designers

The program can be a little complicated to use to start with, but once you get used to its interface and options, it is a very useful tool that could save you a great deal of time at a very reasonable price.

GraphicsConverter does exactly what you'd expect, and once some minor complicated have been overcome, it is very effective.
