Most providers offer a tool on their website that'll help you check.

Virgin's fibre-optic broadband is very fast and reliable, available for £22 per month for 12 months. This deal doesn't include line rental, as Virgin has now added the option of opting out of a Virgin Phone line. There's also a £14.99 activation fee to watch out for.
If you want a Virgin Phone line, this package is £32 per month.
It's by no means the cheapest option, but the 50Mbps internet speed is faster than most options offered by rival providers. It has won plenty of broadband awards for overall satisfaction, reliability and speed, so is highly recommended.
50Mbps is brilliant for most single users or couples, but if you share your home with a bigger family who tend to use the internet at once, you might want to consider opting for 100Mbps or even 200Mbps. Virgin offers the former for £27 per month with no line rental or £37 per month with. There's the same £14.99 activation fee.
If there's an online gamer or four in your household, upgrading to 200Mbps is going to give you brilliantly fast internet with absolutely no lag. It'll cost you £35 per month with no line rental, or £45 per month with. The £14.99 activation fee applies here too.
Better yet, Virgin has also introduced a package designed with gamers in mind, which in addition to 200Mbps download speeds also offers up to 20Mbps upload and no traffic management. It's the most expensive option though, at £40 without line rental or £50 with. The £14.99 activation fee applies here too.
Plus, if you're looking for a broadband bundle that includes TV there are some more offers to incorporate TV available on Virgin's website here.

If you're not so worried about your internet's speed but are more concerned about its price, you might be interested in some of these other broadband deals.
Sky offers great deals for new and existing customers, normally in partnership with an upcoming movie. At the moment, if you join with Sky TV, you can get Sky Broadband Unlimited for £17.40 per month for 12 months, and that includes line rental. That's for 17Mbps download speeds, so much slower than even Virgin's basic package, but that is reflected by its price tag. It'll also be £9.95 for the router delivery.
If you're looking for faster internet, Sky offers its Fibre service with 38Mbps speeds for £27.40 (note that it's still slower than Virgin's 50Mbps base speed), but that's capped at 25GB, which might not be enough for some users including movie streamers and gamers. It'll cost you £59.95 to get this setup, too.
For unlimited Fibre broadband from Sky, it's £37.40 per month with line rental included. There's a £48.95 set-up fee, too.
The final option is the fastest 76Mbps option with unlimited usage, for £42.40 per month including line rental with that £48.95 set-up fee in addition.
Plusnet has some good offers right now, including this 38Mbps offer which'll get you 18 months of broadband and line rental for £23 per month. There's a one-off £6.99 P&P cost to add to that too.
You can also get 17Mbps for £22.50 per month for 18 months.
Plusnet may not provide the fastest broadband available, but it has some outstanding qualities that helped it win Broadband Genie awards for Best Value Provider 2016 and Most Recommended Provider 2016.
Another cheap broadband option comes from TalkTalk, which is £22.95 per month including line rental for 18 months.
If you need a bit more speed, go for the 38Mbps option, which is £27 per month including line rental plus a £25 set-up fee.

The faster option is £28.50 per month for 18 months with a £32 set-up fee.
