BenQ has launched the MP523 projector and is keeping its options open by aiming it at the education market as well as small businesses. The MP523 costs a fairly modest £359 ex VAT.
The projector has a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and benefits from a bright 2000 ANSI lumens. Measuring 273x108x215mm, the BenQ projector has a 4,000-hour lamp life when running in economy mode.
It will project images ranging in size between 30in and 300in and has a 1.97 to 2.16:1 throw ratio. Users will also benefit from numerous preset modes that allow one-touch optimisation for various user scenarios
According to BenQ, the anti-dust DLP technology featured in the projector makes the MP523 extremely durable in high-dust environments and it also comes with integrated speakers and a remote as well as component, composite, S-Video, analogue RGB, stereo mini-jack and RS232 connections.
Available in the UK now, the MP523 is priced at £359.99.
