Dell £729 Inspiron Blu-ray laptops

March 31, 2008

Dell fancies itself as an entertainment brand and is today launching two HD media-focused Inspiron Blu-ray laptops.

Dell is starting to sell Blu-ray high-definition laptops for a starting price of £729 including VAT and delivery.

We’ve already taken a look at the standard configuration of the Inspiron 1525 with a 160GB hard disk; now Dell is offering Blu-ray as one of many upgrade options available at dell.co.uk.

The Blu-ray Dell Inspiron 1525 has a 15.4in widescreen display with 720p resolution and comes with an HDMI (high definition media interconnect) port so it can be hooked up to a HDTV.

In addition to the Blu-ray player version of the Inspiron 1525, there’s the option to configure the multimedia laptop with a Blu-ray recorder drive.

The Dell Inspiron 1525 with Blu-ray goes onsale across Europe from today.
